“ My friend and I went to Maru upon arrival to the Zürich train station. We love Japanese food so we decided to go here based off the appealing menu and solid reviews. The gentleman at the counter got both my friend and my orders wrong. They put the wrong protein on her dish and fixed it (although sloppily) after she pointed it out. They gave me curry don even though I ordered the katsu don. When I mentioned this to the employee, he told me that the katsu don and curry don sauce is the same. When I questioned this, he confirmed it. I know curry and tonkatsu sauce are different so I didn't appreciate the dishonesty. The food and drinks were good, and the location is convenient. I also appreciated the amount of vegetarian options. Just disappointed in the service. ”

“ First I thought that CHF 20-23 for a noodle soup at a place with self-service located on a busy train station is too much, but then we got our huge bowls with delicious fish bouillon combined with beef, wakame, tempura and tasty noodles. I could not finish it - it was too much food! Very very tasty. The ladies working there are very friendly and nice - thank you for the delicious dinner! ”
